The latter indicates attachment to the past, while the former expresses the direction to be taken for evolutionary purposes. Both express basic psychological behavior.
2) THE HOUSES
There are twelve sectors of different extension (in the Placidus system), which divide the zodiacal band, overlapping the 12 signs.
The time and place of birth determine a particular division of the houses; starting from the Ascendant
follow each other counterclockwise. They show how the individual lives the experiences symbolized in them and how,
in turn, he is conditioned by it.
Once dropped into the houses, the signs and the planets enter into a dynamic relationship that involves an exchange of values and energies.
Each house is associated with a zodiac sign in ascending order (Example: First house = Aries, Second house = Taurus, Third house = Gemini, and so on).
Here is a brief description of some house-related meanings:

3) THE ASPECTS
They are the angular distance expressed in degrees between two or more planets (or Ascendant and Midheaven) considered with respect to the Earth.
From the interpretative point of view, aspects are combinations of influences and energies that merge positively or do not harmonize with each other, depending on the planetary forces that come into play.
In general, however, for the interpretation it will always be necessary to take into account the planets involved in the aspect, their zodiac signs, the houses in which it will be formed and the whole of the astrological picture.
The major aspects, mainly considered, are:
conjunction, sextile, square, trine and opposition.
Thereconjunctionit is formed when two or more planets (or the Ascendant and the Midheaven) come together
at a maximum distance of about ten degrees.
